Sam Hickson laughs at MiAL’s nickname for him - the UAL Veteran, having studied at LCC, CSM he just finished his course at Wimbeldon in which he specialised in print. Sam’s work is fuelled by the confrontation between the “Self” and “Other”. A pushing and pulling between the rational and the ephemeral and observing the self from a critical distance.

Jason Matheou is about to graduate from Graphic Design at Central St Martins in which he specialises in creating compelling photography. As well as being a meticulous stylist and photographer, a few minutes with Jason and you can't help but be smitten with his charm and sense of fun. What better way to get to know him than over cocktails? What's his tipple? Turns out he takes his martini like he creates his powerful work - strong and the fruitier, the better!

Karen David's mysterious canvases and crystals hold hidden wonder. Simply beautiful to contemplate, they also raise and comment on important issues of modern spirituality and culture. A winner of Xhibit and featured in Art Review this month, we were curious to find out more but it turns out we're only more intrigued than ever!
