With the current COVID-19 pandemic, many people are isolated in their homes experiencing a huge range of feelings. “Soft Hours” represents a quiet mood of melancholic warmth, a mood that is easy to experience given the time and space we have to reflect alone, in our places of comfort.' This brand new work reflects timely yet timeless themes that are true to Dana's practice. Her illustrations always reflect an emotional journey. Dana spends a great deal of time self-reflecting and always remains truthful to her inner thoughts and emotions; the source of her inspiration. Her work therefore responds to her personal goal of drawing out an emotional response from her audience.'
