Alexandra Golus

In her photography practise Alexandra explores contrasts between strength and vulnerability, male and female energy as well as the industrial landscape in contradiction to nature. She comes to an agreement with imperfections, scars and wounds, trying to portray raw, unfiltered reality. Inspired by the realism of Japanese post-war art and polish folklore, she aims to express and find herself behind the camera.
As an artist, Alexandra hopes to connect with her audience on a personal, nearly intimate level, stripped off labels and stereotypes.
