BA Fashion Styling and Production, London College of Fashion 2018
Charlotte's work focuses on the themes of the body, specifically the female form and within this ideas of skin and detail and the shapes and textures within this. She likes to use photography to manipulate the body, using it to create abstract shapes, transcendent movements, with the aim to move the boundaries of what is recognised as normal in relation to the body.
Charlotte's photographs are constructed through experimentation with materials, fabrics and light on the body and through manipulation of these images in post production. By comparing and contrasting, playing with scale and perspective, she highlights the intricate details of the body which are commonly overlooked.
"Through this work I would like to achieve the presentation of the body and the skin as an art form and to create an understanding around its beauty."
