Submissions to be part of the Made in Arts London 2022 Collection are open!
We are now accepting submissions for our 2022 Collection.
Apply to be represented by Made in Arts London for two years. If selected by an independent panel of industry professionals, you and your work will be launched in our annual collection and you will be invited to take part in exclusive events, workshops and exhibitions throughout the year. We’re thrilled to announce the details for our upcoming exhibition showcasing works from ‘The Iridescent Collection', and we cannot wait to introduce you to our latest creative cohort!

We’re very excited to announce a selection of the works from the Arts Students' Union's Black History Month: ‘Looking Forward’ exhibition are available to purchase exclusively in our online shop!
Each work is created by a University of the Arts London student and 100% of the commission from each sale will go directly to the artist.
All the works ar currently on display in the exhibition at Central Saint Martins’ Window Galleries, running from 24th September - 3rd November 2021 and the gallery is open 24 hours a day.

Artists with knowledge and experience from distant genres and unrelated forms can often collide and inspire new ideas. Adding creative partners, collaboration, education and exchange of ideas can spark a multitude of creative advancements. This exhibition addresses how the contribution of talent can ensure that the creative industries are borderless and celebrates the importance of diversity in art. With the support of UAL, 3 students have been selected to create an exclusive commission celebrating collaboration between artists.
The MiAL 2017 Collection featuring fine art, illustration, design, photography will be showcased during the exhibition. Make sure to drop by to chat to the artists and browse the new collection of UALs emerging talent.
MiAL at The London Illustration Fair

The London Illustration Fair will once again seek to delight and entertain with another bumper packed event full of illustration, workshops, talks, music, live signings, murals and a ton of Christmas gift ideas for even Santa to get excited about. MiAL and Metro Imaging Mentorship 2016
Deadline for Submissions - Sunday 18th December
The mentorship will provide one final year UAL student with a bespoke mentoring program which will run from January - December 2017, offering tailored support and advice during the final crucial few months study, degree show and then the vitally important first few months as a graduate. Alongside this mentorship, the winning student will also become a Made in Arts London artist, with the opportunity to showcase their work online at madeinartslondon.com as well as at MiAL events and exhibitions throughout the year.

Submissions for Made in Art Londons Autumn/Winter 2016 Collection are now open.
Current students and those who have graduated in the last 2 years from any of University of the Arts London's six colleges are welcome to submit work to be considered for one of our collections.
If your work is selected, you will become a member of Made in Arts London and we’ll showcase your work to wide audiences outside of University of the Arts London. Throughout the year MiAL attend and host a variety of exhibitions, events and art fairs to promote and sell your work.

Sell Your Work Make A Living - MiAL Graduate Futures Week Talk

Graduate futures week is a programme of events designed to help University of the Arts London’s graduating students get ahead in the creative industries.
'Sell Your work and Make A Living' will be a panel discussion between MiAL Coordinator Rosa Harvest and two MiAL alumni on selling and surviving in London after graduation. The panel will discuss practical hints and tips on selling your own work through a number of platforms, as well as how to adapt your skills and practice to be able to support yourself in those crucial months and years beyond graduation. The speakers are:

Submissions are open to all University of the Arts London Students studying in any college, course, year and medium.

Made in Arts London and Cass Art have teamed up once again to bring you the Cass Art Materials Grant, a fantastic opportunity for one lucky University of the Arts London student to receive £500 in materials support.
The Cass Art Materials Grant is being offered in line with submissions to Made in Art London’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection, as this ensures that the recipient not only receives materials support but also the professional support of Made in Arts London to help them progress with their creative careers.

MiAL Autumn/Winter 2015 Submissions Open
Deadline - September 20th 2015
If you are a current student or recent graduate from University of the Arts London you can now submit your work for the chance of becoming a MiAL artist.
We welcome work in all mediums: fine art, design, illustration, video, performance, sculpture, installation, fashion and more. The only requirement is that there is some element of your work that you are happy to sell.
Collections are chosen by a panel of industry experts, and all submissions receive feedback, regardless of whether it is selected.

Multiplied Art Fair: Contemporary Art in Editions 2014

Multiplied is the UK's only fair devoted exclusively to contemporary art in editions. This was MiAL's first year exhibiting at Multiplied, and included a fantastic range of work from students and recent graduates from UAL.

Camilla Brueton also created live drawing during the fair to create a stunning installation piece. J G Ballard’s novel, ‘Concrete Island’ was a key inspiration in this selection.
