"The design for the tile came from a collage of photographs I took of different architectural surfaces in Berlin. It is a surreal presentation of the city as a wanderer sees it, fragments of memory stitched together and collected in the form of a tile. A tile also being a fragment of an architectural surface, it parallels the images it is made up of."
