  • Who are Made in Arts London?

Made in Arts (MiAL) are a not for profit enterprise designed to help students and recent graduates sell their work and help them make that transition from students to professional artists and designers. MiAL is part of the Student Union of the University of the Arts London (Arts SU). The Student Union for Europe's largest arts education institution. 

  • Why should I buy from MiAL rather than direct from the Artist?

By buying from MiAL you are not only directly investing in our emerging artists but also helping to support their professional development. As a not for profit enterprise, MiAL's percentage goes directly back into creating more opportunities for our artists and offering them one on one pastoral care and support. The work sold through MiAL is also curated by an invited panel of industry experts and successful independent artists and designers, so by choosing to buy from  MiAL you are also making a great investment for yourself in the potential stars of tomorrow

  • What are the postage and shipping rates from MiAL?

Shipping and postage vary on the size and price of the artwork and you will be given the options at checkout, but you can always collect from our office in High Holborn free of charge! Please allow between 5 - 10 working days for standard postage or to organise collection. 

  • Can I hire student artwork for my office or hospitality space?

Yes you can! This is a service we already offer to corporate clients. MiAL can tailor the selection of work to your needs as well as organise art party events for your clients or staff, artists talks or pop up shops.   • Can you put me in touch with an artist for a commission?

We do not give out artist's details but please get in touch with katie@madeinartslondon.com if you would like to arrange a commission with one our artists.

  • How can I keep up to date with MiAL events and exhibitions?

  • How can I submit my work to MiAL?

You can submit your work to MiAL through the online submission form. Our invited panel meet annually to consider the submissions, which are open all year round. You can submit your work here Sell Your Work. If you have any questions about your submission please email katie@madeinartslondon.com

  • I am from another University, can I still sell with MiAL?

Made in Arts London is only available for students at University of Arts London colleges, Chelsea, Central Saint Martins, Wimbledon, London College of Fashion, London College of Communication and Camberwell. 

  • I'm a graduate, can I sell my work with MiAL?

MiAL accepts submissions from recent graduates, however you have been graduated for longer than two years then we won't be able to consider your submission. 

  • Can I sell my work independently or elsewhere if I am a MiAL artist?

MiAL encourages you to find as many opportunities to sell your work as possible. We practice price parity so make sure that your prices are the same across your commercial platforms, and or course let us know about them so we can promote them!
