A confederation of 600 students' unions, NUS represents more than 95 percent of all higher and further education unions in the UK, representing the interests of more than seven million students. NUS enabled UAL Students' Union to launch MiAL in March 2012 through an enterprise grant.

Metro Imaging offers the most comprehensive range of photographic services in the UK. The also provide mentorship programs to encourage and support emerging photographers. Made in Arts London and Metro Imaging have partnered on a series of talks regarding how artists can support and promote their practice.
